Designed For Standard & Temperature-Compensating Alternators

This kit features the REDARC SBI12 Smart Battery Isolator (Voltage Sensitive Relay).

Ideal for vehicles fitted with:

• Standard alternators

• Temperature-compensating alternators (common in many Toyota platforms)

The SBI12 automatically connects when charging voltage rises and disconnects when voltage drops — protecting your start battery when the engine is off.

System Overview

The REDARC SBI12 monitors battery voltage.

When the engine is running and voltage increases, the isolator links the batteries to allow charging.

When voltage drops (engine off), the isolator separates the batteries — preventing back-feeding and protecting your main battery from discharge.

Fully automatic operation. No ignition trigger required.

Installation Quality

This kit is assembled and pre-wired in-house by qualified auto electricians using quality components and heavy-gauge cable.

All joins are properly terminated, heat-shrunk and workshop finished — the same standard we install in our own workshop.

Important Information

This system operates on a voltage-sensitive isolator.

If your vehicle uses a smart or variable-voltage alternator, this kit will not suit.
