6.5m 6B&S Anderson Power Lead – Ignition Switched – Dual Anderson (Red & Grey)

This 6.5 mtr 6B&S twin-core Anderson power lead is designed to run reliable power from the front of your vehicle to the rear for caravans, campers, fridges or ESC systems.

The lead includes an ignition-switched relay, meaning power is only supplied when the vehicle is running, preventing accidental battery drain when the ignition is off.

The cable run terminates in two Anderson connectors mounted on a bracket:

• 1 x Grey Anderson plug – ideal for charging a caravan or camper battery

• 1 x Red Anderson plug – commonly used for ESC (Electronic Stability Control)

This setup provides a clean and practical power solution at the rear of your vehicle. We can swap the red Anderson to another grey on request.

Ignition Trigger

The ignition relay is triggered via the blue trigger wire, which must be connected to a fuse that is live only when the vehicle ignition is on.

To help with installation we include two fuse taps covering the most common fuse sizes.

If your vehicle uses a different fuse type, you may need to source a suitable fuse tap separately.

Anderson Plug Mounting Position

The Anderson plugs are pre-assembled to hang off the left-hand side of your trailer plug.

If you would prefer them mounted on the right-hand side, this can easily be changed.

Simply remove the mounting bolts and relocate the Anderson plug housings to the opposite side of the bracket.

Tools required:

• Phillips screwdriver

• Spanner or socket

This allows the bracket to suit different vehicle trailer plug orientations.

• 80 amp MIDI fuse and holder

• 1 x Grey Anderson plug and housing

• 1 x Red Anderson plug and housing

• Mounting bracket for rear Anderson connectors

• 2 x fuse taps (most common sizes)

Notes

• Fuse taps supplied cover the two most common fuse sizes used in modern vehicles.

• If your vehicle uses a different fuse style, you may need to source an alternative fuse tap.

• Anderson plugs are pre-mounted for the left-hand side of the trailer plug but can easily be swapped to the right-hand side if required.
