Availability: 23 in stock

Part Number:0893603050

Specification

For high-strength connection of cylindrical parts subject to high loads

Reliable hardening at low temperatures around 0°C.
A reliable aid, even in winter.

Maximum gap-filling power of 0.15 mm
Even very large deviations can be corrected without significant expense.

Prevents frictional corrosion
The bearings will not seize up.

Resistant to a large number of bases, gases, solvents, oils and fuels

DOS system:

  • Practical one-handed use thanks to the clever turn lock.

-You always have one hand free.

  • Infinitely adjustable dosing system enables dispensing to be adjusted to suit the application, and to keep consumption and costs to a minimum.
  • No residue material in dispensing neck

-Costs optimised thanks to emptying with virtually no remaining product

Notice
Caution:

The following plastics can be affected in the event of prolonged exposure: ABS, celluloid, polystyrene, polycarbonate (Macrolon), PMMA (Plexiglas), polysulfone, SAN (lurane, Tyril), Vinidur, vulcanised fibre and painted surfaces. We always recommend that you conduct your own tests.

Proof of Performance
NSF registered, class P1, reg. no. 151997

The usage instructions are recommendations based on the tests we have conducted and our experience; carry out your own tests before each application. Application

Application area
For high-strength securing of cylindrical joining parts such as bushings and sleeves as supplied, ball bearings, oil-impregnated sinter bronze, gears, bolts, shaft and hub connections exposed to high loads.

Automotive and commercial vehicle industry, metal and tool manufacturing, shipbuilding, machine and engine construction, electrical and electronics construction.

Instructions
The surface must be free of oil, grease and other contaminants. The best adhesive results are achieved by first cleaning with metal cleaner 7063 (art. no. 0890107063). Observe flash-off time! For sliding parts, apply the adhesive in a circle around the outer edge of the shaft and on the inside of the hub. To ensure optimum adhesive distribution, rotate the parts around each other when joining. The high-strength bearing locking cures anaerobically, meaning that it only hardens where the adhesive has no contact with atmospheric oxygen. At the same time, the hardening speed is still being influenced by the catalytic effect of metal and the gap width.

Excessive adhesive that is pressed out of the gap between the two parts will not harden and can be removed with a dry cloth or a cloth saturated with acetone cleaner (art. no. 0893460).

The more “passive” the material and the thicker the gap, the slower the material hardens

  • Passive materials: nickel, zinc, tin, precious metals, aluminium with minimal copper and/or manganese content, high-alloy steel, oxide or chromate coats, plastic, glass and ceramic.
  • Active materials: Steel, brass, bronze, copper, aluminium (copper content greater than 1%).
