These units, when correctly connected to your caravan or trailer, detect the deceleration of your towing vehicle and apply a control to your electric brakes. You must therefore have electric brake hubs. You then can have your tow vehicle decelerating at the same rate as the tractor vehicle.

Hayman Reese Brake Controller Harness 05012

This Brake Control Harness is used to connect your Brake Control unit to your vehicle and trailer. It is compatible with both proportional and solid state brake controllers.

It can be easily installed by plugging directly into existing Hayman Reese SmartClick systems. It can also be used in vehicles without SmartClick wiring, but some manual connections will need to be made.
