PC9030 + Hot Wire Kit – power into trailer plug

This kit contains everything you require to carry out a professional installation of your new electric brake controller and provide a 12V power supply to your trailer plug. This kit contains cable specifically designed for brake controller installations. Besides having a wire for your power supply, earth, and brake controller output, a 3mm wire is also provided to allow pickup of the brake signal from the trailer plug rather than under the dash at the stoplight switch. This bypasses any electric modules or Canbus circuits that are present in many modern vehicles.

5 metres of 13mm split loom conduit to protect your wiring
30 amp auto reset circuit breaker for power supply
30 amp auto reset circuit breaker for brake controller
2x circuit breaker protective covers

Crimp terminals – 4x small ring, 3x large ring, 5x large joiner, 1x medium joiner

These units, when correctly connected to your caravan or trailer, detect the deceleration of your towing vehicle and apply a control to your electric brakes. You must therefore have electric brake hubs. You then can have your tow vehicle decelerating at the same rate as the tractor vehicle.
