ROADSAFE 4WD Recovery Tow Point Pair Extended suitable for Landcruiser 70 Series

Roadsafe Tow Points are designed as matched pairs and are supplied as right and left a hand for vehicle specific fitment

Included with the tow points are all the high tensile bolts and any additional vehicle specific mounting hardware required including instructions

Following these instructions ensures the tow points will be at their optimum Work Load Limit as stamped

It is recommended that the tow points be fitted by a qualified mechanic with 4WD experience regarding vehicle weights, style of bullbar/bumper and intended use as under certain circumstances they may not be suitable for your vehicle

These tow points have not been tested for lifting and should not be used as such

During recovery operations it is important that both recovery points are used as this shares the load, increasing strength and improving safety

The use of a bridle strap is also recommended as in case of failure, recovery components will remain tethered, reducing risk of serious injury or death

The Roadsafe Recovery point was designed in Australia, by Roadsafe, based on the actual vehicle, with CAD drawings and 3D printing for test fitting prototypes.

This local design and sample development allowed for any bugs to be ironed out prior to any actually manufactured prototype for vehicle fitment, followed by destruction testing, and finally on-vehicle testing in ‘real-life’ recovery situations.

Roadsafe uses only high-quality Australian steel in their tow point production, in addition to high quality (grade 8.8 or higher) bolts in the relevant hardware kits per point. Roadsafe also only use NATA accredited testing facilities on the tow points to determine the Working Load Limit and are stamp rated accordingly. All points are batch coded for testing and traceability purposes.

Notes:

Please ensure the chosen Tow Point suits your vehicle. If a bulbar is fitted, modifications might be required to the bar bracket and/or additional hardware might be required (Longer bolts, etc) to facilitate fitment.
