One of the most common mistakes we see is customers purchasing a universal wiring kit for a Ford Ranger or Ford Everest when they actually require the genuine REDARC vehicle-specific wiring kit.
For Ford Ranger and Ford Everest MY18 onwards — including the Next-Generation Ford Ranger (FY23 onwards) — REDARC specifies the use of the genuine TPWKIT-012 wiring kit.
These vehicles incorporate advanced electronic systems including Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and require the correct wiring configuration to ensure proper operation of the Tow-Pro.
Our universal DIY wiring kits are not suitable for these vehicles. That’s why we also stock the genuine REDARC TPWKIT-012 kit.
