The Command 90AP600 Professional Cable Cruise Control Kit is the base cable cruise control kit, allowing you to select the Command control switch that best suits your vehicle and preferred installation.

THIS LISTING IS FOR THE 90AP600 BASE CABLE CRUISE CONTROL KIT ONLY.

A CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS LISTING.

This is ideal if you already have a compatible Command switch or would like to choose your preferred switch style separately.

CHOOSE YOUR CONTROL SWITCH

The following Command cruise control switches are available separately:

• 90CM7 – Dash Pad Switch A compact dash-mounted push-button control.
• 90CM30 – Standard Stalk Switch Steering-column-mounted stalk control for a neat, integrated installation.
• 90CM35 – Double Memory Stalk Switch Advanced steering-column-mounted stalk featuring Command’s Double Memory functionality.

PLEASE NOTE: These switches are not included with the 90AP600 base kit and must be purchased separately if required.

KEY CRUISE CONTROL FUNCTIONS

When fitted with the appropriate control switch and correctly installed, Command lists the cable cruise control system functions as including:

• SET – Set cruise control at the current road speed
• RESUME – Return to the previously set speed
• ACC / DEC – Minor speed increase or decrease while engaged
• COAST – Reduce cruising speed as required
• BRAKE DISENGAGE – Cruise control disengages when the brake pedal is operated
• CLUTCH DISENGAGE – For correctly equipped manual-transmission applications

WHY ADD CRUISE CONTROL?

Cruise control can make a significant difference to driver comfort, particularly during highway and long-distance driving.

Once the desired speed is selected, the system maintains the set road speed without the driver having to continually adjust accelerator position.

The 90AP600 is a cable-operated cruise control system designed for suitable vehicles using a traditional mechanical accelerator/throttle cable.

Applications can include many suitable:

• Light commercial vehicles
• Older vehicles without factory cruise control
• Automatic-transmission vehicles
• Manual-transmission vehicles when correctly equipped

IMPORTANT: This is a cable-throttle cruise control system. It is not the Command system used for electronic drive-by-wire throttle vehicles.

MANUAL TRANSMISSION VEHICLES

The Command 90MCS Manual Clutch Switch is available separately in our store for applicable manual vehicle installations.

The clutch switch provides the required cruise-control disengagement when the clutch pedal is operated.

PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION RECOMMENDED

• Cruise control interfaces with important vehicle electrical and throttle-control systems, so correct installation, adjustment and testing are essential.
• We recommend installation by a suitably experienced automotive technician or auto electrician.
• Vehicle suitability should always be confirmed before installation.
