Chevrolet V8 Small Big Block Starter Motor 12V High Torque 360° Adjustable

High-torque 12V gear reduction starter motor designed for Chevrolet Small Block and Big Block V8 engine applications.

Featuring a fully indexable drive-end housing, this starter allows the mounting position to be adjusted relative to the motor and solenoid assembly, providing greater flexibility when installing into modified or custom-built vehicles.

Particularly useful where aftermarket exhaust headers, steering components, chassis rails or other modifications can restrict starter motor clearance.

360° ADJUSTABLE HOUSING — WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Unlike a conventional starter motor with a fixed mounting position, this starter features an indexable drive-end housing.

This allows the starter motor and solenoid assembly to be repositioned relative to the mounting flange to assist with installation around:

-Aftermarket exhaust headers and extractors
-Steering linkages and chassis components
-Modified engine mounts
-Custom exhaust systems
-Other components restricting starter clearance

The housing must be correctly indexed and secured before installation. Adjustment does not guarantee clearance in every application.
