Installation Guide

Before You Begin

Please read these instructions completely before installation.

Ensure the vehicle is parked safely with the ignition switched off.

This mount is designed specifically for the 2026-on Toyota Hilux N90.

Step 1 – Assemble the Microphone Bracket

If using a genuine GME MB207 magnetic microphone bracket, remove the two M3 screws and separate the magnetic faceplate from the bracket.

Insert the supplied M3 nuts into the rear of the HS Motors UHF Handpiece Mount.

Position the microphone bracket onto the front of the mount and reinstall the two M3 screws.

Tighten both screws evenly until secure.

Do not overtighten.

Step 2 – Prepare the Vehicle

Centre the driver’s side centre air vent (immediately to the right of the hazard switch) before installation.

This allows the mount to locate correctly.

Step 3 – Install the Mount

Position the mount into the lower section of the driver’s side centre air vent, immediately to the right of the hazard switch.

Slide the mount fully towards the hazard switch.

Using firm, even pressure with both thumbs, press the mount fully into position until it clicks securely into place.

Step 4 – Confirm Installation

Gently pull on the mounted microphone bracket.

If the mount remains secure, installation is complete.

Fit your UHF handpiece and you’re ready to go.

Removal

If removal is required, use a suitable plastic trim removal tool.

Carefully release the retaining clip while supporting the mount.

Remove slowly to avoid damaging the dashboard or air vent.

Cleaning After Removal

If any light witness marks remain after removing the mount, they can normally be cleaned using:

• Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA)
• Quality interior cleaner
• A clean microfibre cloth
